20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
1.0 About the Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC)
Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) is an apex and umbrella organization
uniting sectorial business women associations, companies, cooperatives, groups, and sole
proprietors who have formed a united front to advocate, lobby, and network for the growth and
well-being of women-owned businesses.
Established in December 2005, TWCC serves over 20,000 members with annual outreach of
more than 1 million from all sectors through 26 regional chapters, 2 Chapters in Zanzibar, 15
women’s sectorial associations, and companies owned by women (both large, small, and
medium enterprises). TWCC’s core mandate is to support the growth, sustainability, and
competitiveness of women entrepreneurs across all sectors, including informal enterprises.
TWCC offers services such as lobbying and advocacy, capacity building through training and
mentorship, financial linkages, market facilitation, and networking. It works with multiple
stakeholders, including government, private sector, civil society, and development partners.
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, TWCC seeks a consultant to coordinate and manage a
three-month anniversary journey culminating in the official anniversary on February 2026.
2.0 About the Assignment
TWCC invites experienced and qualified consultants to submit their EOI to plan, coordinate,
and execute the TWCC 20th Anniversary celebrations.
The consultant will be responsible for:
1. Planning and implementing a 3-month anniversary journey (November 2025–Feb
2026)
2. Coordinating key activities, including:
Launch campaigns and social media milestone campaigns
Country tour to engage members and stakeholders
Marathon event
Fundraising and gala dinner
Production and 30-day consecutive airing of a documentary on Media
Culmination in the official anniversary celebration on February 2026

The consultant will work closely with TWCC management, teams, sponsors, media, and
stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution.
3.0 Scope of Work
The consultant is expected to:
1. Planning & Coordination
Develop a detailed 3-month activity plan and calendar for the anniversary
journey.
Liaise with TWCC teams, sponsors, media houses, and stakeholders.
Ensure risk management and mitigation for all activities.
2. Event Management
Oversee logistics for all activities: venues, catering, transport, equipment, and
virtual platforms.
Manage participant registration, confirmations, and communications.
Supervise implementation of all events, including the marathon, gala dinner,
country tour, and climax celebration.
3. Content Development & Media
Oversee production of a documentary showcasing TWCC’s 20-year journey.
Coordinate 30-day consecutive airing on TV
Develop promotional materials, social media campaigns, press releases, and
event collaterals.
4. Monitoring & Reporting
Provide weekly/monthly progress updates to TWCC management.
Collect and analyse participant and stakeholder feedback.
Prepare a final evaluation report summarizing outcomes, media coverage,
lessons learned, and recommendations.
4.0 Deliverables
1. Comprehensive 3-month work plan and activity calendar.
2. Detailed program plans for all activities: country tour, marathon, documentary, gala
dinner, and climax event.
3. Confirmed list of participants, speakers, sponsors, and media partners.
4. Reports on logistics, communications, and promotions.
5. Final documentary ready for broadcast on TVs
6. Final evaluation report, including media coverage and lessons learned.
5.0 Merits and Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Project Management, Media,
Communications, or related field.

At least 5 years’ experience in planning and coordinating large-scale events and
media productions.
Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, sponsorship management, and media
communications.
Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills.
Knowledge of women entrepreneurship and private sector development is an
advantage.
6.0 Supervision
The consultant will report to the TWCC Executive Director and work closely with
designated TWCC officers.
TWCC will oversee the quality of services and ensure milestones are achieved as per
agreed plans.
7.0 Payment and Remuneration
Remuneration terms will be negotiated based on the scope of work.
TWCC may directly contract the consultant or facilitate member-based contracts
depending on the activity.
Cost-free proposals from service providers are also welcome.
8.0 Application Process and Requirements

1. Company Profile – Including background, core competencies, previous experience in
event management, media production, and stakeholder coordination.
2. Resume/CV of Lead Consultant/Expert – Highlighting qualifications, relevant
experience, and key achievements.
3. References – Contact details of at least two previous clients or partners for whom
similar work has been done.
4. Portfolio of Previous Work – Evidence of past large-scale events, media productions,
or similar projects (photos, videos, media coverage).
5. Technical Proposal / Statement of Approach – Explaining how the consultant intends
to manage and coordinate the TWCC 20th anniversary celebrations.
6. Financial Proposal – Cost estimate for services and planned activities
For Individual Consultants:
1. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Including educational qualifications, professional
experience, and relevant achievements.

2. Statement of Purpose / Motivation Letter – Explaining suitability for the consultancy
and approach to the assignment.
3. References / Recommendation Letters – At least two references from previous clients,
employers, or partners.
4. Portfolio of Previous Work – Demonstrating experience in organizing large-scale
events, media production, or related projects.
5. Technical Proposal / Work Plan – Outline of how the consultant intends to deliver the
tasks and achieve results.
6. Financial Proposal – Cost estimate for services and planned activities.
